ALRIGHT!! It's about time I submitted something, so HERE WE GO; it's 8-bit Boss Battle 4: The Rival!
As the name implies, it's meant to be used in a battle with your rival of one kind or another. Think of it being used as the BGM for a fight against your rival in Pokemon or something and I think you'll get the right idea, or maybe against some Ace guy that thinks he's hot stuff and demands you challenge him for the right to some legendary something-or-other.
Anyway, regardless of how you see it, this is what it is, but for all intents and purposes, consider it essentially 8-bit Boss Battle 4. Hope you enjoy it! X3

Fits nicely with your intended them.
This one of the series is the one that closest resembles it's intended mood, wheras the others tend to be too mild to my tastes for major or final bosses. This has a strong main melody, but some parts just kind of sit there when the background dies out, maybe it's intended though. In any case, you've improved quite a bit since I first started listening to you a year and a half back.

Whoa.
Awesome stuff. It does what the label says, and does it well. And it loops beautifully too. Glad to hear something new from you, Erich.

I am liking this...
It doesn't have that final boss music, but enough to be a great battle that is repeatable. I was thinking of Pokemon, but it also fits with other games that I am thinking. You've done quite well in this.
