Electronic - Video Game

Author Comments

Hmm, looks like I didn't come up with the name 'Die, Jimmy, Die' first. I promise I didn't try to steal it from anywhere, it's actually a recurring character in the games I make who happens to DIE in every single game. This song is for a future game about him that I may or may not make.

This year hasn't been a very successful one for me, as far as music goes. Although I seriously started a lot of music projects, one of them was just a remake of an older song, and the others all flopped on their faces. Compared to my previous songs, I realised that I was trying to make professional sounding songs, instead of fun-to-make-and-to-listen -to songs.

Fortunately for me, this one came along and sounded RIGHT. The instruments are rather simple and electronic sounding, but they've allowed me to construct a more complex song than I would have otherwise done. The entire song sounds okay to me, though I can imagine on the first or second listening, there might be some bits that sound WRONG to you, the listener. I also had the same problem. I liked some bits and not others, and as I listened to it more and more, they swapped positions and I ended up liking the weird bits more than the parts I enjoyed originally. I wish I could hear this song for the first time again to know what it sounds like to everybody else... but I can't. Sorry if you don't like it.

The start is the best part

Bad enough, I liked the start more than the rest, but I still rate 5/5 - 8/10

Hey there

I'm enjoying the fusion of 8-bit music in there. It's something I've also been dabbling with, so it's nice to see other users jumping on the trend.

Keep up the good work sir.
