Well, this loop wasn't too difficult to throw together. It was also the first time I used natural sound effects in a song, and I really think the thunderclaps brought out the atmosphere of the piece.

I picture...

A dark castle, built on the edge of a cliff overlooking the icy sea, wave after wave crashing against its side in lightless night of storm. A lone hero dares to push open its doors to find what was once his long, long ago....

btw, what game is this from? Super Metroid? I really like this piece.

Gorgeous sound effects

The piece is well thought out, put together, and generally brings out that uneasy edge you first feel after taking that step off your ship onto the surface.
