A remake for my favorite Mike Oldfield song. It took me forever but easily worth a listen

Hey

awsome song, but im really hard on this stuff. its not Ambient music, ambient music is slow, calming. this is more Techno. good song still. ending could have been a little more.

Pretty fun for a bit...

Then, sadly, it gets repeditive. There's a feeling that you could of done more with the song, more instruments, more time on the mastering, that kind of stuff. Not to mention I just hear Mono, which isn't good for a song.

Still I enjoyed it, better than most stuff people are doing here. Tell me whenever you have a new song or work in progress and I'll try & help, just email me or get my AIM from my profile.

Flashburn responds:

Yes I agree with the mastering, I dont think i did that to my best potential

Not my type of music, but...

It was well done. You obviously worked hard on this one and it paid off. If I liked this kind of music I probably would have given you a better score, but I tried to be fair nonetheless.

4/5

This sounds...

...like a really cool buildup here. I like the instruments and what they play. When it comes to the technical issues, thereĀ“s a few things u need to consider a lil harder the net time;
The amount of reverb gets too much. Lower that, and then try to balance the volume levels on the mastering, especially when all instruments work together. The beat really drowns, an even though the beat may not be the most important in this song, it should be more prominent than it is.
Dunno what progs u use, but try a limiter/maximizer on the final mix, and peraps some multiband compression could even out the soundlevels and bring forth the beat.
Also, while ur at it, try eq the instruments to make them clearer, and smoother, as of now, they battle each other too much, if u know what im saying.

Enough with the tech-shit, i really like the song as it sounds, like i said, i just feel it could be made more of, and better, actually, if only mastered a lil better.
The piano in the intro was really nice, btw. Gave me high expectations! :)

This is pretty good

But this is strange...it says the song's been downloaded almost 10 times more than it's been listened to. That makes no logical sense.

Back to the song. It's pretty good. 8/10.
