Tasty and Dark

Metalcan,

I like it a lot! One of my favourite classical works is Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition; and I think this had a lot of Mussorgsky flavour to it. Very atmospheric, I particularly love the bit with the woodwinds and the pizzicato strings. Excellent touch! I want to hear some more classical from you! Also, cheers for the sig pic mate ;).

Metalcan responds:

Ah, a fellow Mussorgsky fan. Thank you very much for the review! :)

Thanks! This is not the kind of music I usually make, though.

MWAHAHA!

I am the motherfucker who made this track GOOOLD!!

Brilliant song, very emotional, really - I like the crescendo downbeat part at the start, quite sad, emotionally. It's very good.

I loved the break in the middle, with the harp (Is it?) and the brass solo afterwards.

Amazing music, I loved it!!

FIVEN!! And the 500th download!

Metalcan responds:

YES! My first GOOOOLD!!! An my mom thought I'd never amount to anything. Thanks for kind words and thanks for voting!

Stunning.

Superb, this. I love Mussorgsky too!
Composition and arrangement are awesome (great original but catchy theme), it's clear that you know very well what you're doing, harmonically. It's also great how you managed to come so near the intensity of actual instruments, with what I assume are VST plugins. Damn! I need to catch up on using those things!
Loved the coda bit as well. Yeah, truly fantastic work.
Listen to my piano piece "Exit Moscow" sometime, if you like it, we could make a Russian suite! XD
Don't expect the clarity of that to come anywhere near this though.

Metalcan responds:

Thanks for the nice review! I listened to Exit Moscow, and it was very cool!
