I am a big fan of Maiden but my song has nothing to do with their song. I'm glad you liked it anyway.

Again... a MGB.

The only things that get McAwesomeBurgers make my hair stand on end, and I don't know why this didn't. It was freakin' awesome. But it was lacking something. I don't know what.

Metalcan responds:

Wow, three awards at once! And I didn't prepare a speech!

Rebirth of a cultureal masterpiece

This piece is exellent, I love the fact that it is in the classical section instead of a "Misc" section.. This is the music that reminds me of the cold nights in St. Petersburg, and the cultural heritage that I do not share, but even though I am of Eastern European decent, I feel this is a very good reincarnate of a culture that is slowly being jaded by it's American influences.

Metalcan responds:

I'm so happy you got something out of this song. Even though it's short I spent a lot of time composing it, and I'm very glad to hear that someone thinks it sounds Russian.

Just... wow?

I dunno but there is something about this peice that just captivates me and I can't stop listening to it... perhaps my heritage =P I'm russian! Ethnic appeal? Perhaps.

The only reason this song caught my eye is because it was titled, "Mother Russia" and I thought, "Oh this might be interesting," but it wasn't just interesting but also very moving and amazing! Great job =)

I absolutely love classical music, almost as much as electronica and I love electronica a lot :D and I have heard many classical peices before from a variety of composers but this just seems to blow them out of the water. Lol, let's just say I really really liked it.

This deserved my 5 ;)

Metalcan responds:

I'm always happy when someone likes my music. Thank you so much for your kind words. I love classical music too, especially the work of Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky. Your review has made my day! :)
