HOLY SHIIIIT THIS IS AWESOME!!

First things first. I just want to let you know that I don't review a song without giving it a proper listen, so I download songs that sound promising and listen to them while at work, where I have lots of time to give then a good hear and thought. It sounded interesting, so I downloaded it.
It was a rainy afternoon, when I heard that song coming out of the speakers in my car. From the very beginning it sounded familiar and after a while I shed a single tear of joy and I just fell in love with this song.

Man! It's all because I got nostalgia attack. The instruments and the theme sound exactly like the song was made by Fumie Kumatani, a composer who made soundtrack to Phantasy Star Online game. Game itself is pretty old(newer, polished versions like PSO:Blue Burst aside - they aren't that old) and I was playing it like 5 years ago. That's why it's so nostalgic to me. I played this game a lot and I loved the soundtrack. Kinda reminds me these old days, not only playing the game, but also these times in school, friends, places and events. Oh yeah, it also reminds me the Megamen: Battle Network series music, which also has songs with the instrument similar to that subtle whistling.
Seriously, the instrument choice is just amazingly awesome! It makes me feel nostalgic every time I listen to it.
All of this makes this song one of my personal favorites among many other songs on newgrounds.

As for the genre, I'd definitely put it video game music genre. Although I am not a big music genres expert.

I wish you made more songs like that, because I see you can make some nice things.
Or if you could work on this song a bit more and add a decent ending or something, it would also be much appreciated.

Cheers,
LopikoL

Oh wow! I appreciate the long review!!! I'll definitely put it in the Video Game genre. Really, the atmosphere just presented itself as I went through the melody! Love it!

Pretty Good

The genre is quite mixed, It has Trancey bits, Dance bits and a good melody and slowish beat that really could fit in ambient or chill. I'm afraid I cannot categorically tell you the genre, it's the same issue I have with my music...

But good none the less. I personally would listen to this if I was chilling out.
