I've been experimenting with different sounds as of late trying to achieve certain effects. This came as a study in brass and heavy strings for a cinema-esque feel.

I had also been doing some research on pirates in the last little while. So, naturally, some of my research crossed into my composition.

Gueux De Mer is french for "Sea Beggars", a term for pirates. Yarrrrrr.

pas mal du tout

Honours its name

I like how it truly does sound piratey, but I have to agree with CheckeredZebra that the middle part (1.15 to 1.50) is a bit slow.
I love how you used the percussions to imitate the environment (waves, etc)
Really nice track, there should be more of these, and less metal.

Favorited :D

I can see this as a battle theme to some game, as well. Fighting on a sky pirate ship XD

As for the composition itself, it's a bit repetitive at some parts but on the whole is very well put together,
