My first project using my new microphone. Everything was recorded into Ableton Live 8 and effects added. This included me tapping on my laptop keyboard to make the rain sound, playing simple acoustic guitar and piano themes, and also reversing the piano, whistling themes, violin, beatboxing, humming, and all of these were looped. The only instruments that weren't recorded were the MIDI music box sound, MIDI violins mixed in on top of the real one, and the real-sounding drums.

Sit back, relax, and let it take you away... outside!

Cool!

Very neat array of sounds. What kind of mic are you using/what kind of dampening? Can't wait to hear more.

Behringer XM1800S Dynamic, with no pop-shield or anything
and Ableton comes with tons of effects, one of witch is a brilliant EQing tool, so i removed loads of highs and lows from a lot of instruments to help spread it a bit
Thanks :D check out my mini mixes, a little bit different, but plenty of wave manipulation in there! ;)

Too... happy... -twitch-

But I like it. Wide variety of instruments, good layering, vocal accompaniment. Dunno what else to say except kudos!

Whitey767 responds:

haha you can never be too happy :P
thanks man :)
