Thanks to those who voted me #1 this week. Means a lot :D

This is the first submission as Smith Comma John; a side-project by Spikrodd devoted exclusively to filthy dubstep.

This song has glitchy parts in there to give it an interesting and techy feel while around the blippy NES synth.

Do rate according to how much you like it, technical skill, grimeyness, etc.

This song features a sample from 'Intergalactic' by the Beastie Boys.

EDIT: I noted a few things needed to be changed, took the advice of some reviewers and edited the drums a tad bit, and other little things.

EDIT 2: If you enjoyed this song, make sure you check out my other songs! There's more epic past this.

Great

This is the only song of this top 5 that deserves to be in it.
It's a new kind of Dubstep, psycho, slightly retro, but awesome! :D
I love it. Keep it up :D

SmithCommaJohn responds:

Well the other dude (Cuzone) just proxy'd his way to some top spots. Luckily, the system should be renovated soon, so no more mishaps like that should happen again.

Anyways, thanks for the kind words!

Beat Boxing Computer

It's a really good track, I'm glad I clicked on the Audio Portal today. Part of the song, mainly the section before the change up at 2:22 which starts up again at 3:23, it sounds like what a computer would do if it could beat box. I know that might not sound like a compliment, but it is, I swear to it, otherwise I wouldn't have rated you so high and voted 5. Keep up the work, it's inspiring, I'm not at that level of technical ability yet, but I will work hard to make it there and surpass it. Thanks for submitting this.

Hey, a compliment's a compliment; no matter how cryptic. :)

A new level of dubstep.

It's dubstep but unlike the others I feel it warm -not cold technical.
I loved those retrogame insets, but I don't understand why U put screams?

Regards N-Gin.

SmithCommaJohn responds:

It's not so much a new level on it, more like an extension on a previously-existing level.

I added the scream (Beastie Boys sample?) to fill it better, give more oomph to the drop. Unfortunately, to me, it doesn't fit the song too well, and I should've used the sample I was using before... oh well.

Thanks for the review, dude!

A Conniseur? Never knew you could be one for music, like one is for wine.

Anyways, thanks for the review!
