i haven't submitted anything to ng for a long time so i thought i'd slap this on. i normally don't produce songs that use a divine chord progression because they are so often abused and wasted on shallow, empty pop trash for their inherent, uplifting effects on the spirits of people who listen. that having been said, this song is pretty unique because it's actually composed almost entirely of recorded samples from other songs of mine that i pieced together one day for the hell of it. it started working out so i went with it, and the divine chord progression formed itself.

anyways, its funky, weird, and uplifting. i enjoyed making it and i hope you enjoy listening to it :)

wow cool

Now those short decay blips of synth (sampled?) are really something. Gives it that certain attitude that I like. Sounds great on its own, gets a bit nauseating in a mix after a while. Still it's what gives the song its character and that's awesome. If you took the modulation effect down a notch (if that's possible) I believe I'd like it better.

Loving that gnarly bass too. Cool song overall.

Some of the better dance ive heard on NG

Very well done.

I must agree, basic trite chord progressions usually lead to bland and overdone music, but you seem to have gotten away with it hear xD. This is so well produced, I can't say I have any criticisms. A lot of it is reminiscent of Daft Punk, or at least that's what I'm hearing. In any case great work, I did enjoy the listen.

Also, if you don't mind, could you take a listen of my newest song, I need input from people who know what they're doing. Thanks!

vaib responds:

word, brothuh! haha thanks. and thanks. and yeah i love daft punk, and i sampled much like they do, or as far as i know they do.

and sure dude, i'll go give your stuff a listen right now.
