To be clear, this IS played live. We don't use FLS (Don't know if you can play live on that program, but I think you can't). We use Sequel 2, It's a product of Steinberg. The best music-program-thing makers ever if you ask me! So yeah, this is Digitalistic (me and a friend) performing live @ MyBasement. So this is something you can expect of us. Ohyeah, you can also check out our songs on Youtube.

Not bad.

It's quite similar to my style of mixing. The monotone melody, the standard drumkit... But, however, it sounds a bit better when you're doing it. Although I don't like the amount of distortion on the synths. Yeah, I'm quite picky.

Anyway, keep making music.

Daft-Maxx responds:

Yeah, perhaps I schould do less disortion on the synths. But it's my style of music you know, I like it. But gotta listen to the customers! :D

Anyways, thanks for the review.

hmmm

Well, unless you were trying to, you hit all the wrong notes (which surprises in the beginning), unique. i like what you did with the lower frequencies (nice bass) and the break beat. the break at around 1:48 is poor.

Daft-Maxx responds:

Well, those wrong notes. I can't do anything about them, sometimes when I play them they sound well, and sometimes they don't. That's the problem when your recording live.
And I'm glad you liked the bass. I've been searching for the right midi, and then I still had to modulate it... And about that break, if I didn't do it it would always be the same loop, and become too repetetive (or how the heck you say that in English).
