Hello Newgrounds. I've been a fan of this site since the late 90's and have never been able to submit anything until now. This was made using FL Studio 9.0 and it I'm still learning allot about the program. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did making it. It started as an abomination and became this so I'm 9 kinds of happy. I'll have more to come soon I hope after I learn the program better. Thanks for listening.

Very catchy

I Have to say this is a very catchy song and it got me moving a bit. For a first time audio submission this is really good and will only get more epic.

On an unrelated note: Judging by this name I am guessing you play the voice for John Creasman for "Road of the dead" am I right? Because either way if you play him a soldier or a zombie I loved your work and everyone else at Evil-dog. I beat the game and am very addicted to it. Keep up the awesome work and I hope you are gonna be in the second game.

Xalkie responds:

Thank you! The second road of the dead is a ways off. Evil-Dog and sickdeathfiend have a bunch in store for the mean time tho. I may have a part in their upcoming games. But road of the dead 2 for sure. ^_^ It will be some time until then. But from what I understand their newest upcoming game is also supposed to be really fun too. Looking forward to it myself either way.

Xalkie responds:

I did a some of the soldiers and the less effective base commander at the beginning as well as some of the pedestrians. It turns out Sickdeathfiend himself did all of the zombies ^_^. Thanks for the vote! I welcome the feedback!

Surprisingly catchy.

I see where you're coming from regarding the author's comments: I first came here in 2000, signed up in 2001, but haven't submitted anything until this year. Truth is, I'm not much of a music critic, which is why don't usually write reviews for music submissions.

Instrumentwise, I like the variety that you have going here for this piece. Kind of reminds me of the Sega game Rez. In terms of composition, it may take some getting used to, but once you do get used to it; it becomes very catchy. As for ambiance, while it may not be up there with Nanashi's latest AP songs; I can see this being used as some sort of sound cues.

What I do like:
-Catchy
-Original
-Nice instrumentation and composition

What I don't like:
-Takes time to get used to.
-May not be up to everyone's tastes.

Overall: For a first audio submission, this is one of the better beginnings. Here's a nine out of ten, and keep practicing.

Thanks for the feedback. ^-^ I'll try my best with later submissions. I'm still learning allot so thanks for the understanding. Here it to hoping I can get my comp back up to standards soon to make more musacs.

Quality Ambient

This track has a lot of great things going for it. The trippy percussion fits well with the arp synths, and I really like the phasing synth in the background. Good job and keep up the good work!
