Ok, this time I tried to add a melody without it governing the entire song. I think it sounds kind of nice, twinkling melodies with rough ass sounding basslines. I hope you guys enjoy the track.

well i dont know much about this genre, but i know you have got the "dirty" bit right. but as for sounding eery, tense or having any kind of emotional provocation. i dont connect with the music, it sounds too undeveloped and has no space. it needs more effects. reverb on a few things would work. including your bass drum. this just sounds null and dry. no offense, i am going to listen to a few of your other songs, vote 5 (like i did for this one) and leave a comment if i like em :)

I understand the whole "needing more effects" thing, it goes along with the concept that you need ambience to sound professional. But, adding reverb to things that you think sound dry will just make the sound loose and disconnected/ if it has bass it shouldn't have reverb. Thank you for the review though, I'll take your advice for sure.
