Me and the rest of the Cotton Overdrive gang have recorded a song. There are a few kinks in the mix we would like to have ironed out, but before I take it back to our freinds in Mezzo Studio then I would like to hear some opnions in what should be done. So critiqe is very welcome. We will be hitting the studio again at some point and I would be nice to have some extra perspectives with us.

Cotton Overdrive is:
Esben Kristoffersen: Acoustic, electric and slide guitar.
Ulrik "Hulk" Kristoffersen: Bass
Kim Martin Nielsen: Drums
Jonathan Roman: Guitar and feedmaster.
Kasper Lundsfryd: Vocals and Zippo.

Rune Buch was the commendant in the producers chair.

Awesome

Truly awesome, this is how D.A.D would sound like if they ever changed into a blues/country band. It is moments like these that makes me proud of being danish.

The riff, while simple, is great and never gets old, a feat that deserves utmost respect, at least in my sick little twisted world.

- Rock on, and I am looking forward to any new songs :)

Lundsfryd responds:

As a lifelong D-A-D fan it warms my heart to hear such words..
Thanks a bunch :)

this song needs a movie....

I'm thinking "3000 miles to graceland 2" or something of the like just to go with this song instead of the other way around. a movie with a guy who has bad ass side burns, clothing that's more bad ass, a cigar, and a classic convertible he's driving through the desert.

Lundsfryd responds:

Haha.. Yeah that could work. I would like to see that happen :P
Thanks dude..

Mmmm.

Mad props to Ulrik the Hulk. That bass riff is perfect. As for the rest of you, great job, truly! This song has all the right stuff. It's loud without being oppressive, it's smooth without seeming weak, and the timing is perfect. Keep it up, lads!

Lundsfryd responds:

Im glad you noticed. Bassplayers in this genre gets overlooked too much. Sure it's not the most technical kind of music. But it still requires dedication and a ear tuned into the music to deliver it right. Ulrik got both and he is steady like a train with that bass :)
Thanks a lot dude :)

Lundsfryd responds:

Thanks :D
