Me and the rest of the Cotton Overdrive gang have recorded a song. There are a few kinks in the mix we would like to have ironed out, but before I take it back to our freinds in Mezzo Studio then I would like to hear some opnions in what should be done. So critiqe is very welcome. We will be hitting the studio again at some point and I would be nice to have some extra perspectives with us.

Cotton Overdrive is:
Esben Kristoffersen: Acoustic, electric and slide guitar.
Ulrik "Hulk" Kristoffersen: Bass
Kim Martin Nielsen: Drums
Jonathan Roman: Guitar and feedmaster.
Kasper Lundsfryd: Vocals and Zippo.

Rune Buch was the commendant in the producers chair.

Such an awesome Song!! I love it in general! So much emotion and still such a cool presentation. Great!

Would you mind telling me what the Bass played, so i can play along? =)

Best Greetings

Thanks man - It's pretty much just A, D and E if I remember correctly :)

Power Blues!

Don't hear a lot of this stuff on Newgrounds, I fucking love it. The cigarette-lighting/zippo noise at 02:08 was pure gold, little things like that in a recording really set the atmosphere, and I think it was absolute genius to light a cigarette at that point in the song....I gotta say, I was expecting a guitar solo at that point, and if you guys ever remix this you should include a really smooth, bluesy solo at that point in the song, right after lighting the cig....like the guitar player is saying "Hang on, lemme light up before we get into the nitty gritty."

I like the way you are thinking. We like this song as it is and have moved on but I would say as a live sort of gag then it would be pretty badass. Thanks for the 10. Really nice of you.
