This is a song completely based upon the percussion that I made as a base.
From there, I thought it would be interesting having a more ethnic feel to them, developed the drumtrack accordingly, and merged it with some voices - done with reverb added.

I present to you, at the duration of 2:45 sec, Aztec Ambition.

Where's the gold?

Dear Arbiter,

Stop writing music... that's so awesome that is. I really enjoyed this piece for many different reasons:

1) I loved the vocal choir and drum samples. Really made it feel like something from the Aztec culture, especially the background calls from the vocal part.
2) I love where song heads after 2:00. French horns and low brass seem to be your calling card, and it looks like you use them really well in this section.
3) it reminds me of treasure hunting in the first Uncharted game. That in itself says it all.

Great job! Can't wait to hear more (as always)!

Your eternally never online friend,

Very artistic

I have heard so many songs here it is hard to find original stuff, but this does fit the bill. I think the main sounds were created by drums beating or something. You really knew how to create the atmosphere of an ancient Aztec civlization. I can just picture a might pyramid in my head and Aztec people going up to it. There was a nice job at how it was consistently played, and I liked the new violin introduced at 1:31. You certainly have talent and I am glad you could spend your time going to this website.

cool

this is beautiful
I love the rhythm and the sound of drums
Also the part of the violins

cool

it sounsd like a mix of Age of Empires (you at least have to hear the theme song) Halo and Avatar

interesting

the song sounded pretty cool but i must comment that those weird sounds in the beginning sounded almost identical to the ones in the fifth element. but those sounds are awesome :D

Arbiter responds:

It's been ages since last I saw that movie, must have been when it came out, actually -- irregardless, thank you for your comments, and your time spent writing it up and listening : )
