after Pirates of the Caribbean came out from Disney I began scouring my collection of scores from college and wanted to digitize this song. I have a great copy made by Finale, however it always sounds better in 8 bit. I know some will say its a rip off from the others online. I assure you this is my arrangement and conversion. Good...but

Good arrangement, but it's sad that you had used a converter. I'm not sure if you use an actual DAW or what you're other submissions are like, but if you make other music with FLStudio or Reason, you should look into getting some VST's. Look up TriForce or magical8bit. They're very good VSTs.

But if you use just Finale to compose all your music and your a classical kinda guy then that's a good direction, in which case my review is kinda useless.

I do like to use Finale alot, however I was trying out some new forms of music writing. I also like to use mod tracker for alot of effects. I will take a peek at the ones you suggested. I have used reason in the past but can never get it to do what I want it to! :) Thanks for the input!

This is Awesome

Please can you tell me what do you use to make songs like this? I really want to create some original 8 bit music but i dont know what program to use. 5/5 and 10/10

drumwar responds:

Search GXSCC-B236E in google and you shall find. Awesome midi authoring tool.
I use Finale to make my midi's, GXCC for the 8 bit conversion, and then Nero Wave editor for wave-MP3 just load your fav midi and play with the software. or use a mod tracker and get some 8bit samplers
