Toejam and Earl need a revival!

I wanna see some new Toejam and Earl games with original funk tracks. I want funk to come back. Hip hop extended it, but later desecrated it. Toejam and Earl was the funk temple of the 90s.

This is a perfect remake. My genesis broke many years back. and my TJ&E broke about 2 years earlier. This brought back vivid memories of fun. I'm gonna go download a rom of it.
