I sat down today with Edmonton rapper AOK and made this great track. That's good 'ol big red playing the mouth-aphone and Omar on the spit. Weeeeeeerd.

I'm making an email list to help organize NG hip hop events and competitions. If you are interested in entering or observing any future NG hip hop thangs please send me a PM with your email. I've already got about 30 people on the list and it's growing.

Old skool still beats the new skool

I was thinking about this and how good it was or something

-Beginning-
Well the first 10 seconds I was think what is this crap but then the good part started coming.Teaches you to not judge the beginning only

-Middle-
The part where he kept saying get up get up get up is when I realized this was about to get good.So I listened to it and was satisfied. But the end came and then it changed the way this song was.

-End-
It had a great ending but surprising I thought he was just taking a puase but it was over. The ending can kinda catch you of your guard. But I still liked the end a lot though

-Points-
Beginning-3
Middle-10
End-10
Vocal- +1

Great lyrics

You've got some serious talent. I'm guessing you're already aware.

Especially when it comes to lyrics, you've got it all down. It rhymes, it's funny, and it flows easily. It never sounds rushed or like you're forcing words out.

The beatboxing and singing in the back sound much better than pretty much any synth or drums/percussion could do, IMO. It fits so much better with the kind of music you're making. The only issue I had this time was that the melody sometimes sound a bit out-of-tune, and the intro sounded a tad bit jumbled, untill the rapping started, that is.

Either way, it's still a great track.
