I made this for Helmi Stefan's book "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Rise of the Monolith".

To quote Helmi on the summary: "A group of four loners go into the Zone, Earths most hazardous environment to follow the tale of the Monolith, a giant alien crystal supposedly granting any wish.
But instead of endless wealth and fame, their worst nightmares come true."

The ambient first half of it was basically me experimenting with the classic solitary guitar thing thats very popular in desolate and abandoned moods. I added some synths to give it a more modern technological feel as the Stalker universe isnt exactly the western or anything.

The metal second half I used Rob Zombie's work as primary inspiration and then ofcourse went with my usual dash of symphonics.

I hope you guys enjoy it.

Stalker, eh?

Great stuff. Suited for "Lost Zone" city games. Some teamplay search&run on ruined factories. Stalker style. Pity, without guns. I turned it on by my "lone wolf run" on another factory. Heartfelt atmosphere.

Lashmush responds:

Thanks alot. Really tried to get the abandoned and solitary mood in this one.

Fucking awesome.

The beginning had Metroid-esque elements, and that is always fucking awesomesauce. And then it only got better.

Fuckin' A, Lash.
