8-bit game influenced music set over a well paced dance beat.

Some tranisitions are iffy, but I'm happy with it being my first 8-bit song.

Sorry if the mastering/mixing's terrible, i'll uploaded the new mp3 here when I get my studio headphones in the mail, because my old ones broke. I had to use a pair of 5 dollar skull candy knockoffs and my stock comp speakers:(

The bridge is the best part in the song (1:28,) everything's nes 8-bit, and snes synth emulators, cept the fx, and the violin. The song's all freeware but the drums.

Could be better.

I love the melody, a lot.
That is where all the stars from my vote come from.

However I was not a fan of the drums, the FL drums really kill the track for me, but others seem to enjoy it but consider new drums.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the synths and mixing.
I wouldn't call that 8-bit at all though, 8-bit is directly from an NES through a cartridge called Midines, think about picking it up if you are serious about 8-Bit music.

Things you might consider:
Midines, LSDj, Nanoloop, Famitracker, New drums

Decent song.

The violin needs a bigger part in this, the way it stands your song sounds very flat. I have a recommendation for you, I'm not sure if you have heard of them, but search the band Powerglove and look for the song Holy Orders. See if you get any ideas from them.

and no i haven't heard of that...band/project/group?

I'll look into it:3

edit: checked it out, i wanted more of a dance/sonic thing, that songs really really epic, but it's more like megaman X like.

I should have remastered in a week, it'll sound cleaner, (not a lot cleaner cuz i'm not great at mixing but yeah) but the song's finished and the idea/concept is clear:3.
