More like psychedelic electronic dub than dubstep. This is chill music meant for chillin, not for steppin!

There were these really annoying little kids down the street that I could hear outside my window while I was working on this tune, and they must have been selling lemonade because they kept screaming "LEMONADE!!" over and over at the top of their lungs. It sounded like they were fucking dying. So I wrote this song about lemonade, and how it's cool and refreshing, yet sour at the same time. That's kind of the sound I was going for with this dub - cool, refreshing, and tart :]

The bassline is very much inspired by Jamaican dub artists like Black Uhuru and Culture. I kind of experimented with the synthesizers and delay, and used a theremin synthesizer for the melody to give it that sourness.

This track is very experimental, and very chill, completely in the spirit of dub music (not dubstep). Enjoy :]

Great job

So awesome. That synth that comes in at 0:54 is perfect, I can almost taste lemonade, or maybe like, key lime pie.

It was Okay

Although I just can't see the relation between this song and lemonade. And yes, I read the description. But the submission, overall, it was very good. I loved how you played with the synthesizers.
Another thing I liked here were the beats. The way you performed them were simply amazing and it seemed you put an effort to this. Kudos man.
To be very honest, I really didn't like this so much because Dubstep isn't my style at all. But that would be an unfair and immature reason to give this a low score. I clearly see you worked a lot on this and you also managed to make this very well, with quality and passion to this genre. That's what I'm really looking for in every musician with their works.
Conclusion: Nice work.

There isn't really much relation between this song and lemonade, just kind of a mental association that I developed while working on it I guess due to those noisy kids.

oirhaoiwdasd hurr im a horse

just wanna point out that electronic dub by definition is dubstep (dubstep can be grimey or chilled like this track), but it's a kickin tune regardless!

definitely hear the original influence in it, too many people lose that getting caught up in all the grime and filth lately.

i likes! keep up the good work :]

Thanks for the clarification. I just don't really associate much with dubstep. My dub influences come much more from hip hop, reggae, and ska dub. I've never been too big of a fan of dubstep in general, but I'm a big fan of Hallucinogen's In Dub album (not grimey at all, very psychedelic and almost ambient), and I think that's the kind of sound I was going for. I guess I've always seen dub as it's own genre - no matter what kind of instruments it uses. But I'm glad you like it. :]
