Alright so I made this short loopable for the Robot Day 2010 contest - now when you're listening to this - esp. on headphones, you may notice the bass sounds a bit.. weird, this is because the bass is actually panning in 3D - so when it is directly in front and directly behind the bass is lessoned and as it turns the bass becomes more prominant - much layering and stereo switching going on in the background - also as the resonance on the main lead increases it overlaps causing that wonderful fireworks sound - I will eventually make this into a full complete song, hopefully in time for the contest, if not,.. oh well.

Enjoy it's loopability! If you want to use it and feel it doesn't loop well enough I can re-export it where it wraps the reaminder so that it's seamless.

on a side note the entire song was made with the 4 basic fl percussion presets, but HEAVILY modified and distorted - you can get some really cool sounds out of existing crappy ones :)

lead is made from an old-school generator.

This is a great loop.

I love the bass in this loop. Its moving according to my own monsters in my head. I don't just think this would be good in a game, this would be good in a flash movie or a live action film. I just can't stop picturing androids all doing the robot in a room flashing with millions of different colored lights and a disco ball in the middle. I wish I could had the finances to make a short film. God this is great.

Chronamut responds:

lol it's already been used in a flash of robots having sex and mindchamber jerking off to it hahaha..

glad you likedi t man - sad on the score though :(

thanks for the review!

Chronamut responds:

I've apparently already got some takers for games for it ^^

Hmm...

I liked it as a start but the whole piece seems exactly the same to me. It seems like a repetitive whine because all of the "robot" sounds/whines/whistles/whirlies mask the beat.

If you were to create some beat variation and rework this you could really have something here.

Keep it up :)

Chronamut responds:

hey man it's just a loop :)

thanks for the review!
