You don't think, you just move.
You don't doubt, you just groove.
You don't see, you just feel.
You don't suppose, you just reel.

You don't flight, you just go.
You don't run, you just flow.
You don't pause, you just run.
You don't stop, you just gun.

You don't surmise or visualize
Decriminalize or sensationalize
You might have spots before the eyes
Or you might cross one's eyes from the F.B.I's
Or improvise a marseilles
Or oversize your nobel prize
Because what underlies, I do advise
Don't comprise, or devise, just arise
You might get a surprise at the supplies that applies
So baptise and don't chastise
This is the reprise, on which one relies
It's unwise to upsize, but guys, don't fear the guise
There's more to this than thighs and tries and ties
One cries, buys, dies, dries one's eyes, flies
Fries, lies in pies, don't wait for the prize
Because why's?

You just move.

lo-fi?

Very groovy, but could absolutely benefit from better sound quality.

The beats are quite simple, with some variation throughout the song, though nothing major going on at any point. I really liked the melody that came in, as it put the jazz in this song, absolutely. The bass track also sounded really neat, also groovy.

My main problems are that the quality is low. It sounds like you recorded it in a really poorly isolated room, and I'm standing outside. Or something like that. I guess I can agree with Fro and his bucket-thing.
The second thing is that it's far too short. I barely managed to get my groove on, before the song ended. ):

thx soap, much appreciated feedback. Not much that I haven't heard already, but that shows the power of the RRC in action, you being the most consistent :D

You are also right with the song length and I thank you for that comment. I like seeing someone consistent on the charts... it's a real good sign

Thanks again, soap, hope to see u around.

It's not bad.

The thing is it really has that "recording from the inside of a bucket" type of sound there. It's kind of low quality and really just muffled. It almost sounds like a band was playing from the other side of a wall or something like that.

Other than the poor quality I think you have a pretty decent song here. I wouldn't mind hearing the better quality because I feel it's a song that I would actually enjoy listening to as it wasn't very generic and just seemed like an overall fun song.

Hm, you worked on those lyrics there why not try and find somebody to put them in the song? Ah, probably wouldn't sound right though would it? Anyway, they were a nice read that might help the listener get in the right mindset while listening to the song.

Thx fellow RRCer... much appreciated review and glad you enjoyed it. I slightly agree with your comment about the quality... glad you thought it wasn't bad. I try to make my beats fun and interesting and I'm looking to experiment more with this "genre" a bit. Thank you for listening,

It sounded nice

And I seriously suggest upping the quality of the sound, it would make it so much more enjoyable to listen to. The bass was good, but a little the same. When I expected it to do something, it stayed the same, or just did one note. I like the middle though (from 0:39) and so on

spartacusxerox responds:

Thanks, glad you liked it. I put most of it through a strong filter, just for stylistic effect. But maybe loosening up on the whole "lo-fi" thing just a tad will improve things. I can see what you mean on the whole variation thing too. I'll try working on that.

Enjoyed your review! 5/5. :P Thanks for listening!

I feel that groove

this is very cool, i like the bass to it, the song's beginning has that quick step to it, and the bass kind of sets up the theme.
