Hello and happy weekend to y'all. :)
It's been almost two months since my last release. I have been relaxing up at the cottage on the weekends and not been focusing on my personal tunes as often as I'd like. So it brings me great happiness to have finally finished this piece.
Created entirely in Propellerheads Record+Reason. It's a soulful, happy melody with a nice housey backbeat. I put it under New Wave because, well... it's not really house or trance or pop... it's a mix of new and old - I dunno what to classify my music as anymore. :d
Regardless, it's an excellent song to wake up to in the mornings which is why I titled it as such. :) Been putting it on when I wake up every day this week and it's definitely put a smile on my face and a spring in my step. I hope it does the same for you. :)

Lovely song.
But I doubt I'll ever wake up to it.
I'd just keep sleeping. Then miss work. Then get fired. Then lose my car. Then lose my house. Then hunt you down.
So, thanks, but I knidly reject your offer of listening to this lovely song in the morning, and will use my extremely loud and violent alarm clock. :P

I didn't think 101 reviews of people telling you how awesome this track is was enough, better make it 102 lol. so yeah, this type of music isn't always my thing but from the very beginning I could tell this track was going to be awesome. All the sounds are on point and high quality, love the percussion especially that snare, I think you could've done a little more with that high synth thing but that doesn't change the fact that this is an AMAZING piece of work. I can definitely hear this as the track I wake up and get ready to, it just has a very nice vibe throughout. Good job really :)
Haha, thanks hektic. You're right about the high-pitched lead, it does sound a little flat compared to the rest of the track, only in hindsight (and thanks to you pointing it out) that I'm noticing it though so double thanks for the keen ears. :D

Well balanced, nicely put together, professional! What I like is that it does not sound too artificial, too synthetic!
