So a buddy of mine told me I should write a hardstyle song. I told him hardstyle sucks but despite that I would do so. Little did he know I would be transcending a genre with my awesome musical powers.
I can't wait for him to hear this and see his head explode from the simple "OMG THIS ISN'T HARDSTYLE!!!!" argument he will propose. What can I say, I hate hardstyle. So when I write hardstyle, it sounds nothing like hardstyle. So you are looking at a new subgenre in the world of music known hereafter as, nu-hardstyle. (You know that is so win!) Hahaha!

By the way. I used Nexus for some of the synths in this song. Does that mean I'm cool now? I really hope so, cause I wanna be cool like all the trance kiddies here on Newgrounds.

Great~
Although one little thing about it, I kept waiting for it to pick up to a faster pace for some reason, not saying that's a bad thing, it just made me feel like a faster part of the song would come up next a lot but it never happened.
Also, this loops quite nicely, which is neat.
Glad you enjoyed the song, even if it didn't quite get as up tempo as you would have liked.

I really like buuuuuuuuuuut
I really like this however those skips need to be fixed at 1:07 and 1:24. I was really into it and then those big skips just....ruined it. I'm still giving it a 10/10 though because I imagine those skips weren't supposed to be there. =]
They aren't skips. They are gate effects, or as I like to call them stutters. If you listen closely you will notice they correspond with the rhythm of the song quite perfectly. So I can't really apologize for them, because to be honest I think they are the best parts of the song. Breaks up the monotony well.

hmmm
well i personally love hardstyle but this basicly makes hardstyle into a metal industrial kind of sound which i enjoy so yes nu-hardstyle kicks ass lol
It's not actually hardstyle. The hardstyle genre thing was a joke between me and a friend. It went over well and he got a laugh out of it.
That being said, I'm glad you like the song. :-)
