The Korg Series
Year: 2002
Soundtrack: Neo Krysta Reborn
Song Title: "Overworld"

This is probably one of the most complex pieces I made on the Korg Triton. I used all 16 MIDI tracks available to pull off the full techno sound considering that I played this in real-time. There are 3 percussion tracks going on simultaneously, because I only have 2 hands to play with.

But even all the stuff that sounds like arpeggiated loops I actually played by hand myself. It was fun, and I think it turned out great!

All was recorded in realtime using a Korg Triton MIDI sequencer. No loops or arpeggiators were used in the making. Keep in mind that these pieces are old, and represent my earlier days of composing.

OOOo shit

isn't Korg a brand of drum machines? cause i used to play on this Korg drum machine for hours, they are fucking awesome. but mine was kinda broken.....Ah well. Bad ass fucking song

Setu-Firestorm responds:

Korg makes a number of different musical instrument products. The Korg Triton that I used to make these pieces was a very expensive keyboard equipped with just about any synth you could possibly want.
