EDIT: song extended to 2 minutes. I had to re-make the submission because the revised song wouldn't load into the player for some reason, although I uploaded it.
This song is based off of a story of mine called the Tale of Nervonius.
Nervonius was a peasant-born warrior in a kingdom called Verildor. He was sent to the town of Nemanar to learn the way of the sword, and it was there that he learned of his destiny, to wield an ancient sword and defeat an evil lord who reigns over the northern half of the kingdom. This song replicates the beginning of his quest.
The repeating of the theme is supposed to symbolize the repeating of his routine of riding swiftly through the land, and the variety of instruments holding the main theme represent the realms through which he has to travel. Lastly, the final silence leading into the finale represents him taking up the challenge to fight on.
And yes, I am aware, I put a little too much reverb on the drums... I spent a hour trying to get it right, but, as many of you know, I am not the most experienced 'digital musician'.
Feel free to use this song in any projects, just cite back to it. :)
Also, as usual, constructive criticism is MORE THAN welcome.
