I was making a funky song and then I left and when I came back this had happened. This is the story of a song that progressively messed itself up. I think around 1:50 the instruments stopped giving a shit and did their own little thing. Whatever.

Drew me in
Pretty good for funk, as a real city-ish feel, except at 1:54 (Where it went wrong to 2:00, which is where they stopped giving effort for a bit, but the rest is just awesome. As the summary says, it drew me in, mainly because I dislike funk.

The breakdown
Nice, story format music writing, this is rarely done in funk anymore
Nice work on the scale and chord changes, about the second time the music dissapates, roughly at about 2:10, it seems a little long of a rest, it didnt at all ruin the song though.
In all, great peice

Kewl!
Yeah well at least it still sounds kewl eh? It goes from a synth funk sort of song to a computer-y synth song thing if that's a good way to describe it and that's just awesome :D. I like that it has a little funny story with it as well LOL.

um what
What do you mean the instruments stopped giving a shit? My aitech lets the instruments release the cooldown period for 4 hours. So your instruments were left of the holo tubing huh?
That sucks, at least the offsound was song material. Whenever my instruments release offsound it sounds pretty bad, like metal scratching.
I must admit you have a point.
