It's the actually my first real attempt at a piano song :D Since I started playing the piano I told myself that it would be nice to create a little something for a school project of mine. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do :D

Makes me want to play Shenmue!

It's very catchy right at the start but then the song loses it's momentum half way and the melody sounds too repetitive from there. Having said that it reminded me of the music from the Shenmue series warm and slow paced piano shorts.
I did like the chords you used and the ending of the song was very very well done. I would of liked it even more if you extended the intro part as that was the real hook of this song and the melody in that short part was brilliant. Also wanted to praise the way you played the melody as I could hear a few accented notes which keeps it interesting. Nice work!

really nice

although it sounds digital (to my ears, I tend to know if its a real or virtual piano) it is very well performed and newgrounds needs more people such as yourself. much better than the hip-hop and dance rubbish on here.

Thank you chrisw92 :D Interpretation is something I'm never well sure of since I just recently started playing let alone work on interpretation lol
Yeah, it is indeed a virtual piano xD I didn't have any ways, to record directly into .mp3 so I recorded it into midi. I tried my best to make it sound better but looks like there's a limit to EQ and reverb :D And yeah, there's a bit too much hip-hop and dance these days and not enough classical piece, ecen though I like pretty much any type of music :D

Cheers,
