You're going to hear a melody played two different ways. The first is sidechained alot heavier than the second part. My problem is finding which one sounds better. Let me know if you think the first part sounds better (0:00-0:15) or the second part (:15 on).

The first part sounds like an intro while the rest sounds like it could be made into a full song. The second part definitely sounds like it would transition better into other parts and bits, but i really like the first because it sets the tone and gives the song a real "heavy" feel if that makes sense. Obviously i know nothing about music but i would say you should use whatever gets the job done right, about anything. ;)

Sidechain for Sure

I've never really understood exactly what sidechaining is but I have heard of it many times. In this case the first part has more "depth" to it. I close my eyes and it just takes me to a better place then the last part. They are very similar, but thge first part has more "Umph" in it with that extra sound.

I have always wondered

What is the best method for sidechaining?

BTW I think the first part sounds much cooler, the second part sounding more sloppy
