"You can't dwell on it...."
"You can't dwell on ANY of it..." - Cpt. Haldane AKA "Skipper"

Well I watched part 8 last night of the Pacific. The show is continuously becoming more war dramatic than ever but in a realistic way. I never thought I'd get so attached to war and a show and it sort of makes me feel guilty I wasn't there nor born to fight against the Japanese as well... So I decided to creat a somewhat short tribute to one of the most heroic characters in the story.

** SPOILER ALERT READ PAST THIS PARAGRAPH IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN PART 8 **

I couldn't believe when Skipper had died. He was Eugene Sledge's and his company's leader. He held so much morale and had so much support for them, and for him to get shot down and killed mysteriously by a sniper (it's not even shown in the movie, only heard by the soldiers) I thought that music that played afterwards was a little less than fitting. So I decided to create my own short little tribute to Skipper...

** SPOILER ENDED **

Anyway, even though he may not even had been a real person, here's my tribute to Skipper. Amen.
