Here it is, the FINAL version of my Lance Battle Theme. I didn't leave a retarded cliffhanger ending this time. Instead I made it loop! I also had a clip of Dragonite's cry sounding really badass at 3:31 during the silence. It was pretty amazing but... it's a copyrighted clip and I'd rather not get banned for something that stupid.

Hope you like it!

Definitely the best remix of this on here, but...

The first 30 seconds were truly awesome, the intro transition from 8 bit I loved. However, I really felt the guitar part playing the main melody of the remix greatly overpowered the other instruments, to the point of barely noticing them in some places. It's still a good remix, I just feel you could have done so much more.

Burn7 responds:

I have to agree with you. But there is a reason why it's overpowered. I do the mixing on all of my own songs, so I get to pick which parts stand out and which stay behind. And being a guitar player I would like my guitar work to stick out more than the other parts of the song.

BUT... I made this song before I knew exactly how to mix well anyway. Now I try and keep it a lot more even. I space the instruments out much more precisely and give them their own feel, not just as additions to the guitar.

I have a remastered version of the song if you want to give it a listen. I tried giving the different sections more variety and re-recorded all of the solos as well. l1hd

Regardless, thanks for your review!

...Is great! But I agree with a previous reviewer, the guitar totally overpowers everything else. I'd have loved scaling it back a little but otherwise pretty damn flawless!

Burn7 responds:

Yeah, if you check my response to his review it tells you why.

But here's a link to the remastered "Ultimate Showdown" version: l1hd

one of the best moments of my childhood...

Now with more awesome!
Although this isn't my kind of music
( long guitar artistical masturbation like solos)
although the "familarness" makes me wanna play
that battle again...

Burn7 responds:

Hm, well apart from the artistic masturbation that you dislike, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
