My submission to MAC10 for April.

-------------------------
Lyrics:

Will you answer me?
I'm not just a piece of technology.
I sustain life for you
Without me what would you do?

You'd be a friendless virgin
Except for that watermelon
That's right, I saw you
Don't act like it isn't true

Fuck you.
-------------------------

It's a silly ring-tone, but I think it works. Tried it out on my Nokia (I don't know the model) and it sounds great. I'm keeping it as my new tone :)

I tried to make something really simple and catchy (it is just a ring-tone after all) and I think I succeeded in that. I also incorporated some lyrics that I made since apparently that's a bonus. By the way for the lyrics, for those that are confused, the singer is a phone: hence the vocoder I ran my voice through. I figured since it's an electronic device speaking, it made sense to use an electronic voice.

If there's any questions about the lyrics feel free to ask.

Hope you enjoy it, and good luck to all the contestants :)

Heheh!

I feel this is a little trinket I want to animate in the near future! Very silly!

question

first of all, it sounds really cool, but how did you do the voice? with your mobile?

VegetarianMeat responds:

Used my microphone and a synth + Fruity Vocoder and then recorded live. Fun stuff.
