A simple ambient song with classic use of rhodes and piano, great for menu music.

A hooded man walks down an alley, injustices seen and heard all around him. His only reason to live was gone and that was all that matter. He kept walking as he heard some thugs assaulting a young girl, reminding him of his youth. He had no time for reminiscing, time was short of hand. He had a knife ready to do the job, if he could fathom it. As he walked he heard her voice, the voice of a person that he has been looking for. Alluring as it was he knew that she was gone, forever from this world. The world collapses around him, has it ended before he has? but it didn't matter he had to keep walking to his designation. Not even the world could stop him. Troubled, noises flying by his head, no turning back now. He stood at the top of a 3 story building a knife in his hand. Ready to take the one final step that would end all his pains. Even as he stood there he wondered which way would he die, from broken bones, or a knife wound? which one would take him first? He jumped but what became of him none knew. Some say that he disappeared never to be seen again. Some say that he just walked away as if nothing happen. I say that which way doesn't matter, hes gone to me as I'm gone to him. <End of story> Brilliant song I love it and quite frankly old as it is I think its one of the best songs I've ever heard. you just don't hear something that makes you chill yet sad as you remember the past you don't want to remember. The song seems to help you sort out your own problems not that I have any, besides a memory not of my own, still trying to figure out who it is. Anyway the best song I have ever heard, period.

With this song.

I feel i'm walking through the slums of a fallen city and all sorts of people are watching me as i walk.. Perhaps people who want me dead. perhaps people who are just as scared as i am to walk through such a terrible place. The image that this song brings to mind is a freaking awesome one and i think you've captured something nice in this. Keep it up!

Simple yet effective

For me the song would be intricate and hard....so its really not that simple. Great job...love the song. Its got a nice mellow beat...melody follows along just perfetly....piano puts it over the edge with pure listening bliss. Its really good!
