This is a remix, please read the following:

This is the result of an Audio forum collaborative public project: to make an "Exquisite Corpse" of a song. Participants sent Rig clips of a single instrument playing a track that followed these rules:

- 130 BPM
- Key of C minor
- 36 bars long
- 4/4 time signature
- First two bars are intro, last two bars are outro

Without hearing anyone else's parts, nineteen people sent in their tracks.

I've rearranged, cut, spliced, retuned and mixed the 19 tracks to remove all dissonance and to form a much smoother transitioning song from what was originally a series of 1 minute long tracks. This is the result.

Been forever since I listened to this one. And it's still amazing!

InvisibleObserver responds:

Thanks, I'd not have listened to it in nearly a year myself if I hadn't seen someone had left a review on it.

Dang it.

A song like this only makes me wish that I was a decent artist so that I could craft an animation worthy of this songs quality, although I digress that the story in my head is probably no where near as good as I believe it to be.

On an actual note, for being composed of 19 separate parts it really does flow smoothly, kudos to you sir for composing this from so many different thoughts.

InvisibleObserver responds:

Audio slicing is my friend.

Lovely

I don't know if you realize this, but Husk is the name they gave to the main nobodies on Kingdom Hearts. This song I could totally see representing one of those. I doubt that was your intention, but it worked out.

InvisibleObserver responds:

'Beautiful Husk' is simply 2 synonyms for an exquisite corpse - which is what this song is... but remixed.

The authors comments explain what exactly that is. Glad you like it though!

Flash

This music should be in a flash game/movie.

InvisibleObserver responds:

I certainly think segments would fit quite nicely too.

Entrancing. :O

This is my favorite of your songs. :3
Strings produce my favorite type of sound, so I fell in love with that violin. :D
I shall study your methods of mastering as I feel I can learn quite a bit from you. :O

& just one thing, I think your music would be classified as Avant-garde. :3
Not so sure about Transgeneric. :X I'm not sure if that's a word. Don't kill me. ;~;

InvisibleObserver responds:

My musics all over the place, I go with "transgeneric" since its a film term for a movie that has traits of multiple genres in one.

Avant-garde certainly would fit.

I find it odd that whats apparently my most popular song uploaded to NG, is the song least created by me, given all of the source material was gathered from the submissions of other users. In laymens terms, my most 'popular' song is the least authentic to me.

Though of course theres no crime liking something. :P
