This is a remix, please read the following:

This is the result of an Audio forum collaborative public project: to make an "Exquisite Corpse" of a song. Participants sent Rig clips of a single instrument playing a track that followed these rules:

- 130 BPM
- Key of C minor
- 36 bars long
- 4/4 time signature
- First two bars are intro, last two bars are outro

Without hearing anyone else's parts, nineteen people sent in their tracks.

I've rearranged, cut, spliced, retuned and mixed the 19 tracks to remove all dissonance and to form a much smoother transitioning song from what was originally a series of 1 minute long tracks. This is the result.

Oh, there you go again.

I always love your originality, Invisible Observer. It's probably just my ears, but I felt like it stumbled a bit at 1:10, threw my rhythm off a tad, but I got used to it by 1:30, so it was probably intentional. I really enjoyed your heavy use of sound effects that managed to be noticeable, without being distracting. Overall, I believe the first minute or so is the best part of the song.

So please, continue being invisible, but don't stop being audible.

InvisibleObserver responds:

It seems like mot people enjoy the first minute most, it was the easiest section to mix, which gives it a far more pleasing sound. Thanks for the words of endearment.

Excellent!

Varied. Unpredictable! Strong consonance harmonies where they are needed, and wonderful discordant dissonance right where it should be in order to keep the piece interesting. Constructed sounds that are original and don't sound like presets mixed with convincing sampled instruments, not an easy task!

The varied pieces from each participant are mixed in a way that gives it a seamless quality while still maintaining an interesting and unpredictable changing quality.

Really quite excellent!

Thanks a ton for the thought out praise. A solid construction, though not representative of my style. :(
