"Zethster gains ground."
date: October 20, 2005
It seemed more like a bridge, or sequence, because it never climaxed, it makes for an excellent loop and resemebles the structure of a final fantasy battle song, although I've never play much of it.
The percussion and beats were bass heavy and took chunks out of the orchestra whenever they slammed.
The guitars were a nice rugged touch, but in some instances, if I found myself concentrating on it, the pattern on it would take out the originality of the orchestra and add in repetitivity. It would be nice if died out altogether a minute in.
It was pretty short, I don't think the end did it much justice, but altogether, excluding the beats, it was pretty smooth.
You're not like a lot of composers, you know what you're doing, if you worked on the formula you'd have something everybody would be steering for in their project. Let me know if anything else comes out.
Author's Response:
This was just something i had to do, as it was in my head for ages, without me being able to do something about it.
after a while though, i came to the conclusion that i should mix it with some "metal" traits and it appeared like it did.
I still think the piece is done though, even though its short.
The piece wasnt meant to be a full-scale song so it became what it did. :)
Thanks for reveiw
PS:For that final compliment, i thank you alot :)
