OK, my original intention with this song was to make a cool little classical piece. The piano part was an organ, and the bassline was just a saw with not-so-funky drums. With a bit of cleaning up and playing with bassline modulation, I ended up writing a pretty "epic" house song. Most of the bassline little bits that are in this song are inspired by the last few raves that I went to; the way that the bass literally wopped through my body was more than enough to convince me to write my basslines in such a fashion. Filters = <3. It gradually builds and changes as the entire song progresses into one final movement of the melody.

This sounds like walking through a level of Megaman. Despite it's bits and pieces of classical music, it has a distinct industrial feel to me. I dunno why, but the layers of sound don't really strike me until i've listened to your song multiple times. It all becomes clear somehow after i do.
Mindsweeper as well as yourself are dead on though. Treat this like a hobby. Get a day job. Taking this too seriously will ultimately end up robbing you of that creative spark.
