This is something commissioned for a game that will be released on the Xbox 360 as downloadable content. It's doubling over as a contest submission for the Newgrounds Audio Death Match. Hopefully it passes the test.

The idea behind this loop is that it swells and contracts. If you notice there are a number of buildups that lead into sections that start with just a few instruments. This helped keep the loop progressing while not really having a true climax in the song, which was what was wanted. So there isn't one major climax, but rather a lot of "mini" climaxes as I like to call them.

Hope you enjoy this little loopy. :-)

A theme worthy of the xbox 360.

I'm in total awe. This sounds amazing. I work with many producers and composers on a daily basis for mastering work...but this just blows me away. Its been a long time since I've heard something this good. Your choice of pads and instruments is outstanding. I love the tiny buildups between each section, not too much, and yet not too little. Keep up the awesome job :)

Nice work

I have to say, I was waiting for a huge climax and it never came, and then I read the summary of the song xD This song deserves praise, it's well done. Just that my preference of an overall climax nocks off one star (score)

This'd be really good in major boss-like scenes, I'd think. Especially the fact that it loops.

I like the way that the instruments create a darker feeling, how the drums keep bridging much of the song, giving it a small sense of panic, but keeping a feeling of despair. It's comparable by all means to a lot of game action sequences (for example, boss fights in FF Crisis Core, or more along the general gameplay of games like Left 4 Dead [to reference XcelentTom's comment]) and it does a great job of staying consistent with the feeling. I like it very much, and continue to keep making great music! You've got talent.

I like the Left 4 Dead reference, despite never having played the games. :-P

All the same, its nice to be compared to stuff that is really popular in the video gaming world.

Thanks for the review.
