In the darkest depths of my mind, I heard a sound, a sound unlike anything I've heard, and in my state of dementia, this song sprang into the light.

What a load of shit, lol.

Been working on this on and off on this whole month, though it was initially done within two days. I received two new instruments before this recording and used them to the best of my ability (which is shit).

Again, feedback would be nice, since I want to be able to fix this up as best I can. Also, this song was meant to have lyrics, or be sung over, but as luck would have it... I cant sing for shit, so that is why I cant ever see it with lyrics or singing in the perceivable future. I'll think of something....

Thank you for listening and enjoy (maybe)!

EDIT: these drum tracks sound awfully familiar.... (those in the know will know, ha)

One of your best.

I love this stuff from you the most. The guitar, drums, bass, everything in this song is amazing, it has more of a tune that your other stuff which gives it more of a "feel" if you know what I mean. Definitely my favourite song from you, keep up the excellent work.

ZombieZappa responds:

Wow man, thanks! I haven't been on for a while, so sorry for such a late response. I really do like this track, it was certainly one of my best efforts in terms of keeping a general theme throughout the song. Its also the best recorded. I had fun with this!

Great stuff dude

Really good progressions. I get a very Opeth like feeling when I listen to this. Eerie in a very peaceful way. I gotta get a bass guitar. This song makes me think thats what my mixes are missing.

ZombieZappa responds:

Ha, thanks. Opeth is in my top 3 favorite bands along with Porcupine Tree and Dream Theater! Some of the influences from this song came from mastodon; well at least the initial build of it was.

Yeah the bass made a world of difference, I dont know how I ever did it without it.

Thanks! It's an honor to get a review from someone that influenced me into uploading my stuff on newgrounds!

Great stuff

This needs vocals and lyrics fast :)
Very good eerie sometimes but i like that.
try to smooth your way into break and not make it that abrupt.

8/10 5/5

Please return the favor on my new song: Desperado Jazz

ZombieZappa responds:

Yeah, It was hard deciding if the break would even be included into the song, but I just loved the damn thing too much to leave it out. An abrupt entrance into that riff was the best I could think of, and chalked it up as a late dream theater-esque transition, lol.

Thank you, I'll be seeing you (On my review of your song, LOL).
