Did the SAME thing last night, even made a song like you did, but urs is a shit load better than mine.
Mines ambient and i used my landline phone as a synth sound loll.

Warning, this might not be too ear-pleasing.
This was something fun I did, using my room, a microphone and some effects in FL studio, the most important effect being Delay.
Basically I set the delay time to 16 beat, so I had a full bar to play in. Then I set the feedback volume to maximum, so it would basically repeat everything over and over.
And then I obviously started hitting things and such in my room, making stupid rhythms and everything.
It gets out of sync more than once, and at some points it sounds pretty horrible, but for some reason I still wanted to submit it.
The microphone I used was simply the built-in microphone in my webcam. I applied some effects after the recording, and I sped it up a bunch, as the original recording as around 5 minutes.
