This is my 5th song in reason. For this, as my homework assignment, i constructed a multi band limiter which I sued to pump out the crisp highs and tight bass you hear.
Also, I experimented with a different panning technique on the percussion, and textures, where instead of panning them left and right, i eq'ed one half of the signal so that the highs were muffled down, kinda like if you heard it in real life. the result was a thicker and much wider stereo field!
anyways, I'm proud of this and hope I get a A. I hope you enjoy it too!
This is a drum and bass remix of the Legend of Zelda theme, and I think the spacey synth and fast drum pass gave it the feeling of being in space. Anyways, have fun!
