Cognition Vault's latest creation is now ready for the public to headbang to! Archetype shows the heavier side of the band while keeping their original style in play. Brian shows off his latest riffs while Tino keeps slamming things with hammers. Glitched in the Cognition Vault fashion, the drums, and even rhythm guitar are enhanced with that techno feel and beat away at your eardrums in unison.
UPDATE (April 17, 2010):
A new synth has been added to flesh out the sound and create a story. The new synth can be depicted as mechanical shrieks, or even gears grinding against each other at high speeds. Either are acceptable. Secondly, the story of this song is now complete.
"Scientists create a prototype super-machine capable of destroying entire cities in minutes. Upon activating this machine, code-named 'Archetype', the machine malfunctions, becomes self aware, and realizes the true extent of its killing power when it accidentally fires off a rocket and disentegrates everything in its activation room. Wandering out of the smoke cloud, stunned yet unscathed, the 'Archetype' makes the decision to 'delete the evil minds' and goes on a hunt, killing all of its creators."
The lyrics will integrate this story even more.
Archetype 2.0 - Tino adds his own twist on the mix. Added synths, and a bass are expected.
Archetype (FINAL) - Vocals will be added, along with a finalized mix and added effects.
