This is a piece that I put together after school one day. Tell me what you think. I put a concert and a marching snare drum in it just to make it interesting. I like it better with the bass turned up.

Nice

Hey, man, that's a pretty cool song, I really liked it, the orchestra was pretty cool, and the instruments are fine, too, they have a great sound, too bad the song is way too short, man, I'm pretty sure you have criativity and potential to make a better lenght...

I really loved the violins, they are very beautiful instruments, and they worked really well with the drums and the other instruments, they gave an epic sound to the song, what is awesome, I really loved the way you builded the song with the violins...

The song was really nice, but you nedd to make some improvements and improve the lenght. Keep it up, I like your job, man...

There's definite scope for expansion of this, here. 90 seconds is an alright size, but you lay the foundations for a piece that easily could be twice that length, maybe even three times, which is a good thing. Would definitely not have minded this track being longer than it was, because it was very good for 90 seconds.

There's a really warm epic tone; the kind you often see in NG flashes, and the kind you often see in battle scenes; I think the snare drum and the other percussion do help a lot with that image, though I think that maybe you could have done even more with them that you did; again, something you could explore if you ever expanded this. This has a vaguely light tone to it, maybe with another section it could get darker and more aggressive, such as when the enemy first sees the enemy they're facing or when they're first attacked. I get this is the first movement in a piece, but even this movement could take a little more of a journey than it did, in this aspect. Maybe bring in more sections of the orchestra instead of just strings and percussion, even.

There's definite potential here, and I'm curious to see what the next movement will sound like in relation to this.

Good but short

A good track. It sounds very "epic", which is always good for the prelude to big fighting scenes. Too bad it's so short though. If a flash artist decides to use this song he either has to make a very short prelude or let the song loop, which wouldn't sound too good in my opinion.

So I think you should try to make this song a bit longer by adding some more parts to it.

Well I'm planning on making more movements, so think of this a s the first paragraph of the story.

Very nice sounds

Seems like you are on the right track with this one, good sounds and its all around a good feel as it stays with good quality from start to finish i like the mix of drums i think thats drums, it gives it that thump it needs

I would leave this and not really touch it as i was very pleased with this from the start

~X~

Well, it's short, but good

There is a good sounding start to this, with an epic tone of the orchestra and the drums just come in to make it sound like a marching band that it is an army of sorts marching to war. Perhaps listen to the drums that go with the Scottish Army bands to make the next step of the piece?

I think that this could certainly stand to be a minute or two longer, it has the legs for it, without doubt. I think that with the strings sections, you've got a great lead into the troops leaving the somewhat friendlier confines of home as they march to the field of strife, where some of them will meet thier ends.

Keep working at this piece, I certainly think that you've got a chance to make it shine through :)
