A piece of music I made to celebrate my love of living in the Pacific Northwest and everything about here. I was specifically trying to capture the feel of riding on a ferry from Bremerton to Seattle, standing out on the deck as the giant ship cuts through the Puget Sound with an ocean breeze blowing through your hair.,,
I love the state of Washington...

Anyway, hope you enjoy the song.

hahahahah

i was listening to this jst kind of drifting off and not paying close attention to teh actual playing, but then i noticed those wrong notes as well after reading sipher's post. idk, i dont really care when im listening to it though. it's imperfect, but in a way, i like it better that way. i jst love the beat and how the song jst keeps drifting with slight sonic and melodic changes... it's enchanting. great job.

check out my latest; i havent been back for a while. cheers.

Thanks for the kind words, p4c. It is imperfect, maybe because when I rode on the ferries I was always subconsciously afraid that they would crash and i would drown or something... I dunno. I got rid of the augmented fourths after Sipher posted, and i didn't like the song without them...

Great excecise in lowing blood pressure...until...

Having only visited Seattle, i can't say i have been on many ferry crossings. Only once have i taken a ferry from Seattle to the other side of the water, im not really sure where, though.
When i closed my eyes, i could see the gulls drifting behind the boat, seemingly suspended in the air. The beat and what seemed like a recording of water being tossed on to rocks really put me in a calm and meditative state....then you played a wrong note. I'm not going to lie that i laughed a bit when i heard the first comically placed augmented fourth. But then it got annoying when it kept happening again and again. If those were on purpose, ignore me. But if not, feel free to still ignore me, but i would recommend re-recording it with fewer slip ups.
Great song and exercise in lowering blood pressure...until the augmented fourths.
4/5, 7/10 for the breaking the mood.

Sorry you didn't like the augmented fourths. Yeah, they were on purpose, although maybe a little jarring in retrospect...
