Her name was Shera.
And this is a very touching take on the original song, your rendition gives it a lot of feeling. I can just feel all the emotions from the first time I played the game rush through me all over again.

i like it
i like it but i really think you'd get more out of this if u were to start it off a bit slower. at this speed it's not upbeat but not slow and emotional-like. just a thought. nice job with this
Actually, I tired to slow it down even more to make it really dark and dramatic, but it really sounded drawn out and boaring after a while, so I feel this speed is fitting because it keeps the feeling of tragedy in the tone, but keeps the listener from being bored because of the length.

Very nice...
I beleive that he canceled the launch to save someone... Then he finds out later that the oxygen tank she was ckecking realy was faulty when it's launched later on.
This is a very good remix/remake.
He canceled the launch to save a member of his crew, who lived with him as his "wife" as repayment (I can't remember her name though)...and yeah, when the ship was launched with the Matera on board, the oxygen tank that was faulty did blow, and destroyed the ship.
And thanks. It's one of my favorites.
