The piece is mostly in 5/8 and 3/4, with a few other changes to link those times together smoothly.. It's all barely noticeable too, which is the idea. Shifting time signatures is a signature of mine that I like to put in all my works. Linking it all together smoothly is a skill that I've been working on since I first started composing. Rhythm is an aspect of music that is just as important to composition as harmony or melody.

Unfortunately, it seems like a lot of artists neglect to put much effort into the rhythm of their music. It's odd to hear anything that isn't a strait 4/4 rhythm. Sure, it's easier to dance to I guess.. but eh.. I never was much of a dancer anyway. >.>

Anyway, if you like this, please give my other stuff a listen! Thanks!

Confused and Dazed

Again, this is something Icannot place anywhere in my spectrum. All I can say is that I enjoyed it. Happy music is probably the best way to describe it but I feel as if there is a glimmer of sinisterness in the background. Like it could all go horribly wrong. I'm impressed.
