Well if any of you guys have listened to my music, I think you may have realized I love video game music. Video game music is predominantly my favorite genre of music, typically from Zelda or Mario games. It is just awesome and I also have to say, if anyone agrees, that Koji Kondo is like the best composer ever. So anyways, this is one of my favorite songs from any Zelda game, Goron City, so I decided to remake it for fun. About three days later, this is the product. I have worked pretty hard on this trying to find the right instruments and such and I would say this is one of my hardest projects yet. And one more thing guys, if you give this a low rating please please write a review and explain why. I really need to know what I am doing wrong. The reason I say this is because on the last song I submitted here, I was getting good scores until someone dropped the rating to a 2. So if you would do that I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Smooth on the ears not to loud percusion

Smooth on the ears not to loud percusion and very reverbed in depth sound! I LOVE IT!

Very loud and painful on the ears.

Sorry, but it uses some really low quality samples, no attempt at even reverbing or masting them, everything just piles together into one big mess, not to mention the horrendous percussion, that doesn't even attempt to use different volumes to make a more in depth sound.

Basically, it sounds like you just uploaded a MIDI file rather than actually trying to change anything about it. I admit, I voted it a little too low, and for that I apologise, but it was not good, I'm afraid. Perhaps try working with some reverb and equalising effects, and put some effort into making the sound richer, rather than just putting notes into a file and saying it's done.
